It's about time....

Well, this last Sunday, Critical and I decided it was time to join all the happy people out there that are now living in the HD world. We had talked about buying a new tv for our christmas present to ourselves. It just so happened that the evil Circuit City is the one that started it all.....

Looking online, we had found the tv we wanted and Circuit City had it on a special online discount. This was great, because we could request in-store pickup and still receive the extra discount. But, once we got there to check out which one we officially wanted, we overheard some other people saying that Best Buy was price matching and that they had a better deal.

So we went into Best Buy. We found the one we had originally been looking at. But right next to it was a nicer, BIGGER, one for only an extra $100. So we decided to spend the exta money and get one that we REALLY wanted. We had an older 54" projection and downsizing was going to be hard :(

Unfortunately we spent a little more than we had planned. Why you ask? Well, how are you supposed to watch HD without an HD player? So, we decided that a PS3 (the cheaper one) was a better deal than a regular old dvd player, so we did that. (It helped that we got a nice discount on that too).

We watched 28 Weeks Later in HD. I wish we hadn't. James Bond would have been a better choice.

Still happy with the tv though.
